
Shift Supervisor

As a Shift Supervisor, you will play an integral role in leading and motivating a team of baristas to provide exceptional service and uphold the high standards of our brand. - Lead and motivate a team of baristas to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure that all team members are following company standards and policies.
- Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about company products and procedures.
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Address any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety and health regulations.
- Handle employee scheduling and time-off requests.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and sales.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
- Facilitate team meetings and communicate important updates or changes.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth within the company.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and teamwork.
Previous Supervisory Experience: A Shift Supervisor At Starbucks Should Have Prior Experience In A Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Customer Service Or Food And Beverage Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills: This Position Requires The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Baristas, Ensuring That They Provide Exceptional Customer Service.
Excellent Communication Skills: Shift Supervisors Are Responsible For Communicating With Both Customers And Team Members, So Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential.
Knowledge Of Starbucks Standards And Procedures: Candidates Should Be Familiar With The Operations And Standards Of Starbucks, Including The Preparation Of Beverages, Food Safety Practices, And Customer Service Protocols.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Role Of A Shift Supervisor At Starbucks Can Be Demanding, So Candidates Should Be Able To Thrive In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks At Once.
