  1. Lead and supervise a team of baristas to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
  2. Train new team members on Starbucks standards, policies, and procedures.
  3. Create and maintain a positive and motivating work environment for the team.
  4. Manage daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and scheduling.
  5. Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and presented according to Starbucks quality standards.
  6. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
  8. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  9. Encourage and promote teamwork and collaboration among team members.
  10. Coach and develop team members to improve their skills and performance.
  11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  12. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and meet store targets.
  13. Keep up-to-date with new products, promotions, and company initiatives.
  14. Communicate effectively with store management and other departments.
  15. Uphold the Starbucks brand and represent the company in a positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In A Leadership Role: A Successful Shift Supervisor At Starbucks Should Have Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role, Preferably In A Customer Service Or Food/Beverage Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Shift Supervisor, You Will Be Responsible For Managing And Leading A Team. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Maintain A Positive Work Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Starbucks Standards And Procedures: A Shift Supervisor Should Have A Good Understanding Of Starbucks' Brand, Products, And Operational Procedures. This Includes Knowledge Of Coffee Brewing Techniques, Food Safety Guidelines, And Customer Service Standards.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Working At Starbucks Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding, Especially During Peak Hours. A Shift Supervisor Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively To Ensure The Smooth Operation Of The Store.

  • Flexibility And Availability: Shift Supervisors Are Expected To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Early Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. Therefore, Candidates Should Be Flexible And Have Availability To Work During These Times.
