We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant in our Manufacturing Accounting team at Starbucks. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our manufacturing facilities and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.   1. Manage and oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing facilities.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all manufacturing activities.
  3. Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and make strategic business decisions.
  4. Develop and maintain financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on manufacturing accounting principles and practices.
  7. Train and mentor junior accountants on best practices and procedures.
  8. Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to management and key stakeholders.
  9. Identify and mitigate any financial risks or discrepancies.
  10. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance.
  11. Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including management, vendors, and auditors.
  12. Work closely with the procurement team to manage costs and optimize inventory levels.
  13. Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities for the manufacturing department.
  14. Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
  15. Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
  16. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  17. Ensure confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
  18. Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Senior Accountant At Starbucks Should Possess A Strong Educational Background In Accounting Or Finance To Ensure A Solid Understanding Of Financial Principles And Practices.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Manufacturing Accounting: Prior Experience In Manufacturing Accounting Is Essential For This Role As It Involves Managing And Analyzing Complex Financial Data Related To Production And Inventory.

  • Cpa Certification: A Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Certification Is Highly Preferred For This Position As It Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Expertise In The Accounting Field.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Accountant In Manufacturing Accounting, The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Financial Data, Identify Trends And Variances, And Provide Solutions Is Crucial.

  • Proficiency In Accounting Software And Systems: Familiarity With Accounting Software And Systems Used In The Manufacturing Industry, Such As Sap Or Oracle, Is Essential For This Role To Efficiently Manage And Report On Financial Data.
