  1. Conduct regular maintenance and repair work on all Starbucks equipment, including but not limited to coffee machines, refrigerators, and ovens.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and implement solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning at optimal levels.
  4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  5. Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and supplies, and communicate any needs to management.
  6. Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and equipment.
  7. Collaborate with store managers and other team members to coordinate maintenance and repair schedules.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
  9. Communicate any safety concerns or hazards to management immediately.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in equipment maintenance and repair.
  11. Act as a resource for store employees, providing guidance and training on proper equipment use and maintenance.
  12. Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the Starbucks brand.
  14. Uphold the company's standards for quality and cleanliness in all maintenance tasks.
  15. Continuously seek out ways to improve and streamline maintenance processes.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position To Demonstrate Basic Education And Understanding Of Technical Concepts.

  • Technical Training Or Certification: A Maintenance Mechanic Should Have Completed Technical Training Or Possess Certification In Mechanical, Electrical, Or Plumbing Systems To Effectively Troubleshoot And Repair Equipment And Facilities.

  • Previous Maintenance Experience: Prior Experience In Maintenance, Preferably In A Food Service Or Retail Environment, Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Demonstrates An Understanding Of The Job Responsibilities And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures: A Maintenance Mechanic Should Have A Good Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures To Ensure A Safe Working Environment For Themselves And Others. Knowledge Of Osha Regulations Is A Plus.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Technical Issues Is A Crucial Qualification For This Job. A Maintenance Mechanic Should Be Able To Think Critically And Quickly To Resolve Equipment Malfunctions And Facility Repairs.
