- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in our production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Utilize industrial engineering principles and tools to analyze data and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new production systems and procedures.
- Support the maintenance and optimization of existing production systems.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Create and maintain documentation of process improvements and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of process changes.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators to measure the impact of process improvements.

Strong Analytical Skills: The Ideal Candidate For This Internship Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Analyze Data, Identify Areas For Improvement, And Make Data-Driven Decisions To Optimize Processes And Systems Within Starbucks' Supply Chain And Operations.
Knowledge Of Industrial Engineering Principles: A Basic Understanding Of Industrial Engineering Principles Such As Process Optimization, Time And Motion Studies, And Lean Manufacturing Is Essential For This Role. This Will Enable The Intern To Contribute To Improving Efficiency And Productivity Within Starbucks' Operations.
Proficiency In Data Analysis Tools: As An Industrial Engineering Intern At Starbucks, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Use Various Data Analysis Tools To Gather, Organize, And Analyze Data. Proficiency In Tools Such As Excel, Tableau, And Sql Is Highly Desirable.
Strong Communication Skills: The Intern Will Be Working With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders, And Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills Are A Must. This Includes The Ability To Present Data And Findings In A Clear And Concise Manner.
