  1. Work collaboratively with the Equipment & Process Engineering team to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
  2. Conduct research, gather data, and generate reports on equipment and process performance to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of new equipment and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  4. Participate in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal functionality and prevent downtime.
  5. Analyze data and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and process optimization.
  6. Communicate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and implement process changes and improvements.
  7. Utilize strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment and process issues in a timely manner.
  8. Follow safety protocols and adhere to company standards and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  9. Attend meetings and training sessions to learn about new equipment and processes and contribute ideas for improvement.
  10. Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  11. Continuously learn and develop technical skills and knowledge in equipment and process engineering.
  12. Represent Starbucks in a professional manner and uphold the company's values and mission.

Job Qualifications
  • Enrolled In An Accredited Engineering Program: This Internship Requires Candidates To Be Currently Pursuing A Degree In An Engineering Field, Such As Mechanical, Electrical, Or Industrial Engineering.

  • Knowledge Of Equipment Design And Process Improvement: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Equipment Design Principles And Process Improvement Methodologies, Such As Lean Or Six Sigma.

  • Experience With Cad Software: As An Equipment And Process Engineering Intern, Candidates Will Be Expected To Create And Modify Equipment Designs Using Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software. Familiarity With Programs Such As Autocad Or Solidworks Is Preferred.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Think Critically And Solve Complex Problems Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Be Able To Analyze Data, Identify Areas For Improvement, And Develop Solutions To Enhance Equipment And Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Equipment And Process Engineering Intern Will Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Production, Quality, And Maintenance. Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Necessary To Collaborate Effectively And Drive Successful Projects.
