- Oversee the operations of all Roastery and Reserve locations, ensuring that they meet and exceed company standards for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment and consistency in operations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the coffee industry, market trends, and competitor activities to inform business strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
- Oversee inventory management, cost control, and budgeting for all Roastery and Reserve locations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Starbucks and represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Drive a culture of innovation and experimentation, constantly seeking new ways to enhance the customer experience and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and execute company-wide initiatives and projects.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes, systems, and technology to optimize operations and support business growth.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and proactively identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Extensive Experience In Operations Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Senior Management Role, Preferably In The Food And Beverage Industry.
Strong Leadership Skills: As The Director Of Operations, Roastery & Reserve, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Managers And Employees. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Others, And The Experience To Make Tough Decisions When Needed.
Comprehensive Knowledge Of Coffee And Roasting Processes: This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Coffee And The Roasting Process. The Candidate Should Have A Background In Coffee Or A Related Field And Be Familiar With Different Coffee Roasting Techniques And Equipment.
Business Acumen: The Director Of Operations, Roastery & Reserve Will Oversee The Financial And Operational Performance Of The Roastery And Reserve Locations. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Business Sense, With Experience In Budgeting, Forecasting, And Analyzing Financial Data.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires Working Closely With Multiple Teams, Including Marketing, Supply Chain, And Retail Operations. The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
