  1. Develop and implement sustainability initiatives and programs for Stanford University campus and community.
  2. Conduct research and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to promote sustainability.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to integrate sustainability practices into their operations and decision-making processes.
  4. Monitor and track progress of sustainability initiatives and report on key metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external sustainability organizations and partners.
  6. Educate and engage students, faculty, and staff on sustainability issues and promote behavior changes that align with the university's sustainability goals.
  7. Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support sustainability projects and initiatives.
  8. Stay up-to-date on current sustainability trends, technologies, and best practices.
  9. Serve as a resource and point of contact for sustainability-related inquiries and concerns.
  10. Act as a liaison between the university and local government agencies to ensure compliance with sustainability regulations and policies.
  11. Organize and lead sustainability events, workshops, and forums to raise awareness and foster a culture of sustainability on campus.
  12. Develop and maintain communication materials, such as newsletters and social media posts, to promote sustainability initiatives and engage the campus community.
  13. Collaborate with other university sustainability coordinators and participate in sustainability networks and committees.
  14. Develop and manage budgets for sustainability programs and initiatives.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve sustainability efforts based on feedback and data analysis.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Or Urban Planning.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Sustainability Or Related Field, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Sustainability Principles And Practices, Including Waste Reduction, Energy Efficiency, And Sustainable Transportation.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage And Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Students, Faculty, Staff, And Community Partners.

  • Experience In Project Management, Data Analysis, And Developing And Implementing Sustainable Initiatives.
