
State, Local, and International Government Information Librarian
The Stanford University Libraries are seeking an experienced and highly motivated State, Local, and International Government Information Librarian to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will have an MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited library program, as well as a strong understanding of the changing landscape of government information services and resources. This individual must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and a passion for providing excellent library services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and highly innovative team of librarians and library staff. The successful candidate will be an efficient problem-solver, creative thinker, and a strong advocate for government information services. We are looking for an individual who will embrace the values of the Libraries and be an active participant in a team-oriented and service-focused environment. The State, Local, and International Government Information Librarian will provide leadership, planning and management of government information services and resources to support the research and teaching needs of Stanford’s faculty, students, and staff. This position will be responsible for the development and promotion of library programs and services in support of government information services.
