- Manage and lead multiple research projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with project teams, including researchers, scientists, and other stakeholders, to develop project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, regularly monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of project team members, ensuring tasks are assigned and completed according to project plans.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success, and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact.
- Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders, including senior management, and provide regular reports on project status, budget, and timelines.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and effective teamwork.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, and ensure they are allocated efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular evaluations of project performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with current research trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for new projects or areas of focus.
- Ensure all project activities comply with university policies and regulations, as well as any applicable ethical and safety standards.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of project team members, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth, both personally and for the project team.
- Represent Stanford University and the research project to external stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and the general public.

Advanced Degree: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Related Field Such As Business, Project Management, Or A Scientific Discipline Is Required. A Phd Is Preferred.
Project Management Experience: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In A Research Setting, Is Required. Experience Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously Is Strongly Preferred.
Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills To Effectively Evaluate Research Project Proposals, Assess Risks And Challenges, And Develop Strategies To Overcome Them.
Communication And Team Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Project Team Members, Collaborators, And Stakeholders. Additionally, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing And Leading Interdisciplinary Teams.
Knowledge Of Research Regulations And Compliance: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Research Regulations And Compliance, Including Irb Protocols, Data Management, And Grant Reporting Requirements. Experience Working With Federal Funding Agencies Is Preferred.
