  1. Develop and manage research projects related to emergency medicine, in collaboration with physicians and scientists.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate completion of research projects, adhering to established timelines and budgets.
  3. Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date on current developments in emergency medicine research.
  4. Coordinate and facilitate communication between team members, physicians, and external collaborators to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  5. Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues or roadblocks.
  6. Oversee data collection and analysis, ensuring accuracy and integrity of research findings.
  7. Prepare and present project updates and results to stakeholders, including physicians, scientists, and funding agencies.
  8. Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  9. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among team members.
  10. Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and ethical standards related to research in emergency medicine.
  11. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of research projects.
  12. Mentor and train junior research staff, providing guidance and support in project management and emergency medicine research.
  13. Represent the research department and Stanford University at conferences and meetings related to emergency medicine research.
  14. Contribute to the development of grant proposals and other funding applications to support ongoing and future research projects.
  15. Stay informed on emerging trends and advances in emergency medicine research, identifying opportunities for new projects and collaborations.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Emergency Medicine: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Medical Degree Or Equivalent In The Field Of Emergency Medicine, Such As A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do).

  • Extensive Research Experience: The Research Project Manager Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Conducting And Managing Research Projects In The Field Of Emergency Medicine. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Research Methodologies And Data Analysis.

  • Project Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Managing Complex Research Projects, Including Developing Project Plans, Timelines, Budgets, And Coordinating With Team Members To Ensure Timely Completion Of Deliverables.

  • Knowledge Of Emergency Medicine Landscape: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of The Emergency Medicine Landscape, Including Current Research Trends, Key Stakeholders, And Funding Opportunities. They Should Also Have A Strong Network Within The Emergency Medicine Community.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: The Research Project Manager Should Have Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate Research Findings And Collaborate With Other Researchers. They Should Also Have Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Foster A Collaborative And Productive Work Environment.
