Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Project Librarian for University Archives Publications at Stanford University. The successful candidate will have a passion for preserving and archiving university materials and a commitment to providing access to Stanford’s rich history. In this role, you will be responsible for the organization, documentation, and preservation of our unique university archives.Required qualifications for this position include a Master’s degree in Library Science or Archives from an ALA-accredited school, a minimum of three years’ experience in library/archives management, and a strong background in archival theory and practice. Knowledge of archival standards and best practices is essential, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams. The ideal candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
