  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the university's goals and values.
  2. Serve as a primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries from faculty, staff, and students.
  3. Conduct regular outreach and engagement efforts to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  4. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  5. Manage the recruitment and selection process for open positions, ensuring a fair and equitable hiring process.
  6. Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and training programs.
  7. Advise and assist with employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  8. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  9. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and data.
  10. Collaborate with other HR team members to develop and deliver training programs on various HR topics.
  11. Continuously review and improve HR processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Stay updated on current trends and developments in HR practices and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes diversity and employee well-being.
  14. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR leadership team.
  15. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior in all HR-related activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Human Resources Principles, Practices, And Laws Is Essential For This Role.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Hr Experience: Experience In A Similar Role Or In An Hr Department Is Necessary To Effectively Handle The Various Responsibilities Of A Human Resources Generalist.

  • Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: Familiarity With Federal, State, And Local Employment Laws And Regulations Is Crucial For Ensuring Compliance And Mitigating Potential Legal Risks.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Build Relationships With Employees At All Levels Of The Organization Is Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Proficiency In Hris And Other Hr Systems: Experience With Hris And Other Hr Systems, Such As Payroll And Benefits Platforms, Is Necessary For Efficiently Managing Employee Data And Processes.
