Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Employee and Labor Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team at Stanford University. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the University’s ability to provide a safe and fair working environment for our staff and faculty. In this role, you will provide advice and counsel on all employee and labor relations matters, as well as develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, as well as a minimum of five years of experience in labor and employment law, preferably in a higher education setting. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and a strong knowledge of applicable labor and employment laws and regulations. Above all, you must be passionate about serving Stanford University’s faculty and staff in a collaborative and professional manner.
