Job Description

Stanford University is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Disability and Leaves Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This position will be responsible for providing oversight and support to the University regarding medical leaves and disability accommodations. The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of and excellent interpersonal skills in communicating with faculty, staff, and students with disability-related concerns. This position requires an individual with excellent organizational skills, an ability to work independently, and a passion for helping Stanford University remain an accessible and equitable campus.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in disability services, human resources, or a related field. They must also have experience in providing disability-related services, interpreting and implementing disability laws, regulations, and policies, and experience in working with people with disabilities. The successful candidate will also have excellent knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
