Strong Research Administration Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Research Administration, With A Demonstrated Understanding Of Grant And Contract Management, Compliance Regulations, And Sponsored Project Administration.
Leadership And Management Skills: The Director Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Leading A Team, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Training And Development Strategies, Allocate Resources Effectively, And Foster A Positive And Collaborative Work Culture.
Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Policies: The Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of The Federal Regulations And Policies Governing Research Administration, Including Omb Uniform Guidance, Nih And Nsf Policies, And Other Applicable Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Director Will Be Responsible For Developing And Maintaining Relationships With Various Stakeholders, Including Faculty, Staff, And External Partners. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
