
Director of Finance and Operations, Theater and Performing Studies (TAPS)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Finance and Operations to join the Theater and Performing Studies (TAPS) department at Stanford University. Reporting to the Chair of TAPS, this individual will have broad responsibility for the financial, operational, and administrative functions for the department. The successful candidate must have a strong financial acumen, demonstrated success in operational management and leadership, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate must also have a passion for TAPS and its mission to foster exploration, innovation, and excellence in the performing arts. The successful candidate must possess: • A Bachelor's degree in business-related field or equivalent experience• At least five years of financial management experience, with preference for experience in the performing arts• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access• Ability to interpret and apply applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures• Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environmentIf you are an experienced, creative, and highly motivated leader with a passion for the performing arts and a commitment to delivering outstanding financial and operational services, we invite you to apply to this exciting position.
