  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for faculty and staff housing that align with the overall goals and objectives of Stanford University.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of all housing facilities, including maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations.
  3. Create and maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and safe community for faculty and staff members through effective communication, programming, and conflict resolution.
  4. Manage the housing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.
  5. Collaborate with university departments, such as human resources and finance, to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  6. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in housing management to continuously improve the housing program at Stanford.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as local housing authorities and real estate developers, to explore potential partnerships and opportunities for expanding housing options for faculty and staff.
  8. Supervise and provide leadership to a team of housing staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  9. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local housing laws and regulations.
  10. Serve as a liaison between faculty and staff members and the university administration, advocating for their housing needs and concerns.
  11. Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of the housing program.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote and advertise the housing program to attract and retain faculty and staff members.
  13. Monitor and analyze housing trends and occupancy rates to inform decision-making and make necessary adjustments to the housing program.
  14. Prepare regular reports and presentations on the housing program for university leadership.
  15. Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the housing community and advocate for the needs of underrepresented groups.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within The Field Of Housing And/Or Real Estate Management.

  • A Strong Understanding Of Faculty And Staff Housing Policies And Procedures, As Well As Knowledge Of Relevant Local And State Housing Laws And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Diverse Stakeholders Including Faculty, Staff, And University Administration.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Budgeting, Financial Management, And Strategic Planning For Housing Programs And Services.

  • A Master's Degree In A Related Field Such As Business Administration, Urban Planning, Or Public Policy Is Preferred.
