Job Description

Stanford University seeks an experienced and motivated professional to join its team as Asst Director for Faculty Development and Diversity. This position provides a unique opportunity to engage in strategic planning, initiatives, and programs to support faculty development and diversity in alignment with the University’s commitment to promoting excellence in faculty diversity, development, and scholarship.The ideal candidate will possess a combination of experience and qualifications, including a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; experience in academic and/or higher education settings; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. A successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, build and maintain relationships, and leverage data and metrics to inform decision-making. To be successful in this role, the Asst Director must have a passion for supporting faculty development and diversity and be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
