Job Description

The Associate Director for Finance and Administration at Stanford University will provide critical financial and administrative leadership to the university. Reporting to the senior director of finance and administration, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring financial, operational, and administrative systems and policies. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly organized leader with strong fiscal management abilities and a commitment to excellence.Qualifications for the Associate Director for Finance and Administration include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field and a minimum of six years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and a strong commitment to collaboration. The ideal candidate should possess a very high level of financial and accounting acumen, including the ability to develop and manage budgets and financial operations. Additionally, the candidate should have a working knowledge of applicable financial and administrative policies and procedures, as well as a working knowledge of computer software related to financial operations. Finally, the candidate should have the ability to work independently and with a team, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work.
