
Assistant Director of Nursing, VN Program

- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement strategic plans for the vocational nursing program.
- Provide support and guidance to faculty members in curriculum development and instructional methods to ensure high-quality education for students.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the vocational nursing program, making necessary adjustments to improve student learning outcomes.
- Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and training of faculty members to ensure a competent and diverse teaching team.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the vocational nursing program, ensuring compliance with state and national accreditation standards.
- Serve as a liaison between the vocational nursing program and other departments within the university, as well as with external stakeholders, to enhance collaboration and support.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to attract and enroll qualified students into the vocational nursing program.
- Provide academic and career counseling to students, addressing their individual needs and promoting their success.
- Coordinate and participate in the evaluation of student progress and provide recommendations for academic improvement or intervention as needed.
- Represent the vocational nursing program at university events, conferences, and professional organizations to promote the program and build relationships with industry partners.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in nursing education and share knowledge with faculty and staff to continually improve the program.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students, promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the program.
- Participate in budget planning and management for the vocational nursing program, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to the vocational nursing program, including student enrollment, retention, and success rates.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Nursing Is Essential For An Assistant Director Of Nursing, Vn Program At Standbridge University. A Bachelor's Degree Will Demonstrate A Comprehensive Understanding Of Nursing Principles And Practices.
Active Nursing License: An Active Nursing License Is Required For This Role To Ensure The Candidate Is Knowledgeable And Up-To-Date On Industry Standards And Regulations.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Nursing Education: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Teaching And Curriculum Development In A Nursing Program. This Will Ensure They Have A Strong Understanding Of The Vn Program And Can Effectively Lead And Mentor Other Instructors.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As An Assistant Director Of Nursing, Vn Program, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Instructors And Working Closely With Students. Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For Effectively Managing And Motivating Others.
