Cashier/Office Support
Applications are being accepted for a part-time Cashier/Office help position at Śri Venkateśwara (S.V.) Temple, Pittsburgh.
- Answer telephone calls, check voice mails and update events on the phone system
- Greet temple devotees when present at the temple
- Send thank you notes and general information to donors once in a month or so.
- Buy office supplies, regular maintenance of copying machine etc
- Mail prasadams to yearly abhishekam sponsors on a weekly basis
- Follow up with devotees to renew the yearly Abhishekam sponsorship
Familiarity with one or more Indian regional languages (e.g. Telugu, Tamil, Kannada) will be a major plus
Willingness to work evenings and weekends is a must
Understanding of Hindu culture and religious practices
