Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Consumer Hardware

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join SpaceX’s Consumer Hardware team and help us continue to revolutionize the world of space exploration. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of the team responsible for the design and fabrication of hardware for consumer and commercial applications.You’ll need a minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and development of mechanical hardware, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in product design, prototyping, and manufacturing processes is also a must.In addition to strong technical skills, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be passionate about using your knowledge and skills to help further SpaceX’s mission.
