SMT Engineering Technician

We are looking for a talented and driven SMT Engineering Technician to join our team at SpaceX. We need someone who is passionate about engineering and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) and experience in the electronics industry.Our SMT Engineering Technician should be a self-starter with a positive attitude. They should be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Additionally, they should have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.The successful candidate will be expected to assist in the development and production of electronic assemblies. This includes the assembly of prototype and production boards, as well as rework and troubleshooting. Some of the other duties may include programming test fixtures and debugging boards.Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electronics industry• Knowledge and expertise in surface mount technology (SMT) • Ability to read and interpret complex schematics • Experience with circuit board assembly and rework • Ability to work with hand tools, automated machines, and test equipment • Ability to use the latest software packages related to PCB design• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsIf you think you have what it takes to be our SMT Engineering Technician, please apply today!
