Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join the SpaceX team. This individual should have a passion for automation and building resilient systems, and be able to take a hands-on approach to solving complex problems. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and be comfortable working in an agile environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the reliability, scalability and performance of SpaceX’s complex distributed systems, while also ensuring the efficient use of resources. We are seeking someone who can think strategically and build innovative solutions to solve challenging problems.Required Qualifications• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE capacity• Extensive knowledge of cloud computing, distributed systems and software architectures• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and/or Ruby• Knowledge of monitoring, logging and alerting technologies
