
Embedded Hardware Engineer
The Image Sensor Design Center (ISDC) in Sony Electronics currently has an opening for a Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer in their San Jose, CA location. The scope of this position is the development of system and board level hardware to support proof of concept and reference designs for Sony’s emerging image sensor technologies. The successful candidate will be able to gather requirements, write specifications, develop hardware, deliver working systems and iterate as needed.
Must have a minimum of 5-10 years of related engineering experience
Experience with schematic capture tools such as Orcad.
Experience specifying and managing PCB layout and assembly efforts.
Knowledge of image sensors including the processing of data through the image processing pipeline.
Experience with Android development environment
