Job Description

The User Experience (UX) Group in San Diego has an opening for UI/UX researcher/designer for Sony’s accessibility features. Support planning and conducting usability studies to evaluate new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change to make our products more accessible. Conduct benchmarking studies of competitor products from accessibility point of view Evaluate Sony products to make our products more accessible. Generate new ideas or recommendation to fix the problem from the finding. Analyze accessibility related regulation and make sure we comply Create awareness within Sony globally related to accessibility including creating training materials, planning for promotion and trade show support.

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of documentation tool for specification documents

  • Full understanding of Accessibility related regulations

  • Familiarity with UI industry standards for interface design and user testing methodologies

  • Knowledge of basic interaction design/user-centered design principles
