1. Collaborate with design and production teams to develop concepts and designs for new collections.
2. Assist in the creation and design of product samples, sketches, and technical drawings.
3. Use industry knowledge and trends to contribute to the design process.
4. Help to ensure that designs are within budget and meet production timelines.
5. Conduct research on fabric, trims, and other materials to be used in the design process.
6. Assist in sourcing and selecting materials for production.
7. Aid in the development of color palettes and prints for each collection.
8. Work closely with production team to ensure that designs are translated accurately into final products.
9. Help to maintain organization and accuracy of design files and records.
10. Provide creative input and ideas for marketing and branding initiatives.
11. Assist in creating and maintaining design calendars and schedules.
12. Attend fittings and assist in making necessary adjustments to designs.
13. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any design or production issues.
14. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques.
