Technical Accounting Manager

SoFi is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to support our Credit Card business. In this role, you will account for the launch and ongoing accounting treatment of our new SoFi credit card business; this will be inclusive of our initial application of CECL to our credit card receivables. Design and maintain reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting. Review and approve journal entries. Serve as key point of contact for external auditors in their testing of our CECL reserve, fees and expenses. Collaborate with the CAO and Controller regarding technical accounting matters specific to the credit card business. Supervise one direct report (senior accountant).
