Sodexo is seeking a Director of Supplier Growth and Engagement to join our team and play a crucial role in driving our supplier relationships to new heights. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify, engage, and grow our supplier network to support our business objectives.   1. Develop and implement strategies to identify and engage potential suppliers, including researching and analyzing market trends, identifying potential partners, and creating targeted outreach plans.
  2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential suppliers, including managing communication, negotiating contracts, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop supplier growth plans that align with those goals.
  4. Continuously evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvement or changes as needed.
  5. Monitor industry developments and trends to identify potential new suppliers and partnerships that could benefit the company.
  6. Create and maintain a database of suppliers and their capabilities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  7. Develop and manage budgets related to supplier growth and engagement activities.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of supplier growth and engagement professionals to achieve department goals and objectives.
  9. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential suppliers.
  10. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including presenting progress reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all supplier relationships.
  12. Continuously monitor and improve supplier engagement processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices for supplier management.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador for the company, promoting our values and mission to potential and current suppliers.
  15. Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements related to supplier relationships and ensure all activities are in compliance.
  16. Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues related to supplier relationships.
  17. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company in a positive and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Procurement Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Food Service Industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Supplier Engagement And Growth Strategies.

  • Strong Negotiation And Contract Management Skills.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers, Internal Stakeholders, And Clients.
