Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and ensure cost savings goals are met.
2. Monitor procurement processes and ensure that materials and services are obtained in a timely and cost-effective manner.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers.
4. Analyze market trends and research materials and services to ensure the procurement process is optimized.
5. Create and implement procurement policies and procedures.
6. Monitor supply chain performance and recommend cost-saving improvements.
7. Develop and manage effective sourcing strategies.
8. Prepare and review purchase orders and contracts.
9. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
10. Track and report on procurement activities.
