Pipeline Engineer

SoCalGas is looking for an experienced and motivated Pipeline Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, operating, inspecting and maintaining pipeline systems and systems components. We are looking for someone who is capable of developing and implementing pipeline engineering strategies and processes to ensure safety, performance and reliability of our pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering - preferably in mechanical, civil or chemical engineering - as well as a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in pipeline operations. You must have a firm understanding of the principles and practices used in pipeline engineering, as well as excellent technical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you must be able to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and be highly organized and detail-oriented. You must also be committed to excellence and possess a strong work ethic.
