Pipeline Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pipeline Engineer to join SoCalGas and be part of our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from pipeline design and construction to operations and maintenance. You will be responsible for providing technical support to operations, engineering, and other departments within SoCalGas.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in pipeline engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance. You should bring a strong technical background, excellent problem solving skills, and sound judgment. A background in project management, budgeting, and contract negotiations is preferred. Responsibilities: -Provide technical support for pipeline engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance projects -Develop and manage pipeline budgets -Negotiate and manage contracts with relevant stakeholders -Develop and maintain operational and safety standards -Create and monitor project schedules -Monitor pipeline performance and safety -Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure pipelines are in compliance with safety requirements -Analyze and evaluate data to identify trends and areas for improvement -Conduct research and development to identify innovative solutions for pipeline projects -Provide technical advice and guidance to operations, engineering, and other departments within SoCalGas
