At SoCalGas, we are looking for a highly motivated and exceptional Pipeline Engineer to join our team and help drive our engineering initiatives. This position requires an individual with strong technical engineering expertise, the ability to develop innovative solutions, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to learn and grow within the organization and has the necessary qualifications to take on the responsibilities of this position.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in the gas pipeline engineering industry, and a valid Professional Engineering (PE) license. Additionally, the successful candidate should have excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop innovative solutions for gas pipeline engineering projects.
  2. Lead and manage complex projects throughout the engineering process.
  3. Collaborate with other engineering personnel to ensure successful completion of projects.
  4. Ensure compliance with all applicable industry regulations and standards.
  5. Manage schedules and budgets for assigned projects.
  6. Perform research and analyze data to support engineering projects.
  7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering personnel.
  8. Maintain and update knowledge of industry trends and changes.
  9. Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients.
  10. Monitor the quality of work and ensure it meets industry standards.
