Energy Auditor

At SoCalGas, we are looking for a highly motivated Energy Auditor to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong energy background and excellent customer service skills. The Energy Auditor will be responsible for assessing energy use and providing customers with energy efficiency recommendations to reduce their energy costs and promote sustainability. We are looking for a candidate who is knowledgeable in energy efficiency and energy audit processes, possesses strong communication and customer service skills, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in energy auditing and/or energy efficiency and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. A LEED, RESNET, BPI or CEM certification is a plus. The Energy Auditor will be a key contributor to SoCalGas’s energy efficiency efforts and help customers save money and energy. Responsibilities:

1. Assess customer energy use and develop energy efficiency recommendations to reduce energy costs and promote sustainability.
2. Provide technical support to customers in implementing energy efficiency measures.
3. Monitor and analyze customer energy data to identify potential opportunities for energy saving.
4. Prepare and present reports and presentations to customers on energy efficiency and conservation.
5. Educate customers on energy efficiency best practices to reduce energy consumption.
6. Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers.
7. Monitor and track energy efficiency and conservation projects.
8. Coordinate with and provide assistance to other departments in the organization.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of energy efficiency and conservation practices and regulations.
10. Comply with all safety regulations and policies.
