Job Description

At SoCalGas, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Energy Auditor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for energy efficiency and sustainability to make a difference in the lives of our customers. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong technical background in energy auditing and a commitment to providing superior customer service.The Energy Auditor is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of energy audit services including on-site energy assessments, analysis of energy usage data, and the development of energy saving recommendations. The Energy Auditor will also be responsible for developing customer relationships, monitoring energy audit performance, and providing technical support to internal and external customers.The successful candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field, with at least three years of energy audit experience. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must also have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct on-site energy assessments, analyze energy usage data, and develop energy saving recommendations.
  2. Establish and maintain customer relationships and provide technical support.
  3. Monitor energy audit performance and ensure quality control.
  4. Evaluate and assess energy audit software, building energy codes, and other energy-related topics.
  5. Develop customer energy efficiency strategies.
  6. Prepare comprehensive energy audit reports and other related documents.
  7. Collaborate with other teams to achieve energy efficiency goals.
  8. Utilize professional judgment and expertise to identify potential energy savings.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable energy regulations and standards.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on energy regulatory changes and industry trends.

Job Qualifications
