Energy Auditor

SoCalGas is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Energy Auditor to join our team. As one of the largest gas utilities in the United States, we strive to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective energy solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for energy efficiency and a proven track record of successful energy audits. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently and have a strong attention to detail.The Energy Auditor position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, building science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. In addition, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in energy auditing, energy engineering, or a related field, and a valid driver’s license. The successful candidate should also have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a strong understanding of energy regulations and codes.

Responsibilities:

• Complete energy audits for SoCalGas customers

• Analyze energy use data to identify opportunities for improvements • Develop energy efficiency plans to optimize energy use • Work with customers to implement energy efficiency solutions • Monitor and evaluate energy usage and performance • Develop reports on energy use and savings • Stay up to date on industry trends and regulations • Provide excellent customer service • Assist with special projects as needed
