Communications Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and creative Communications Specialist to join the SoCalGas team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for creative storytelling, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a strong command of the written and spoken word. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive external and internal communications strategies to support the company’s strategic initiatives and corporate messages. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, media relations, and/or marketing. You must also have a deep understanding of communications trends and technology, and be able to demonstrate your ability to write compelling press releases, articles, and other communications materials.
