Communications Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Develop compelling stories to communicate SoCalGas' mission and values to the public, media and other external stakeholders.
2. Monitor and respond to public inquiries and media requests.
3. Build relationships with external audiences and stakeholders.
4. Write communications materials, such as press releases, articles, website copy, and social media posts.
5. Analyze analytics to generate insights from communications efforts.
6. Leverage social media platforms to increase visibility and engagement with target audiences.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging is consistent and accurate.
8. Develop and implement strategic communication plans for various projects and initiatives.
9. Manage communications projects to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
