Job Description

You will work directly with our Event Planners and Technical Producers to support large format graphics devices, video production, streaming infrastructure, operational execution, and VOD management. Reviews IT requests and provides technical direction for the planning, scheduling, and delivery of streaming services. Liaise with Snap video engineering teams, applying significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our customers. Directs and oversees work of Streaming and Video Production Vendors. Provision Infrastructure to support integrations across streaming and video systems. Owns the technical support lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout support, planning, and delivery. Manages technical resources within budget and customer support schedule. Provides clear documentation for operational teams and Infrastructure runbooks.

Job Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with communication protocols for live streaming delivery over the leading content distribution networks

  • Experience working with Unified Communication technologies such as SIP, VOIP, H.323, and WebRTC

  • Experience acting as an equipment operator for live events for production environments

  • Experience working with Linux, Windows, Chrome, and MacOS operating systems

  • Experience working with media formats on mobile, tablet, desktop, and OTT devices
