Research Engineer, Computer Vision
We are looking for an experienced Research Engineer to join our Computational Imaging Research Team. Develop innovative imaging/display technologies that enhance visual communication and enable new augmented reality applications. Introduce major innovations that can result in product features or new areas of business. Collaborate with the researchers and engineers to make important product decisions. Develop algorithms and methods to be used by millions of Snapchatters. Work closely with other teams to explore and prototype new product features.
Ability to perform research / engineering that is guided by business opportunities
3+ years of modern C++ and/or Python experience
Industry experience with computer vision, machine learning, computer graphics and/or human-computer interfaces
PhD in a relevant technical field a plus
