Research Engineer, Computational Social Science

We’re looking for an experienced and innovative Research Engineer to join our Computational Social Science team at Snapchat! As a Research Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and executing research models related to social media and user behavior. You will work closely with other members of the Computational Social Science team to develop strategies for data analysis and data-driven decision making.The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong technical and analytical background and a demonstrated ability to develop, analyze, and interpret complex data. You should have a deep understanding of statistical methods and data mining, as well as experience with programming languages such as Python and R.
