  1. Develop and implement safety policies and initiatives to promote a safe and positive online community for Snapchat users.
  2. Collaborate with various teams, including Trust & Safety, Legal, and Community Engagement, to ensure alignment and consistency in safety efforts.
  3. Lead and manage a team of safety specialists to monitor and address safety concerns on the platform.
  4. Proactively identify potential safety issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  5. Conduct regular audits and evaluations of safety protocols and procedures to ensure effectiveness.
  6. Use data and analytics to identify trends and patterns in user behavior related to safety.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and experts in the field of online safety.
  8. Create and implement outreach strategies to educate users on responsible online behavior and promote a culture of trust and respect.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices related to online safety.
  10. Serve as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns from users, partners, and other stakeholders.
  11. Represent Snapchat at industry events and conferences to share our commitment to online safety.
  12. Provide regular reports and updates on safety operations and initiatives to senior management.
  13. Train and educate team members on safety protocols and procedures.
  14. Act as a liaison with law enforcement and regulatory agencies regarding safety matters.
  15. Continuously assess and improve safety processes and procedures to ensure the best possible experience for our users.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Occupational Health And Safety, Public Health, Or Communications.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Safety Programs And Initiatives In A Corporate Or Tech Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Safety Regulations And Guidelines, Particularly In The Tech Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols.
