Antenna Engineer
Optimize the radiation performance of wireless portable devices that lead to exciting launches of hardware at Snap. Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and industrial design teams. Design antenna systems and conduct radiation performance measurements. Develop test plans, execute antenna measurements, and generate validation reports. Provide RF level feedback to mechanical and electrical/RF engineers to optimize the antenna performance in products. Prototype antenna strategies for new product concepts. Author clear and comprehensive documentation.
Understanding of PCB design and associated RF level constraints
Ability to impedance match antenna systems and solder small components such as 0201s and 01005s
7+ years of experience in RF or electrical engineering
Experience using simulation tools such as XFDTD, CST and HFSS
