
Engineering Manager, Performance Infrastructure
Growing a diverse team of backend, web frontend, and mobile engineers. Developing and communicating strategic direction, roadmaps and goals. Refining team operating models, rituals, and processes, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. Tracking opportunities, projects, and performance trends, providing accountability, and aligning priorities. Collaborating with teams across Slack, as well as with Product Management, Technical Program Management, Data Science, and Customer Experience partners. We are hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to focus on performance engineering at Slack. As manager of Performance Infrastructure you will lead and coach a diverse and cross-functional group of engineers responsible for tooling and culture around performance, as well as for driving major initiatives to improve the experience of using Slack.Building a movement around performance.
3+ years leading engineering teams, preferably across multiple domains and technologies
