  1. Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions for automotive applications.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new features and enhancements.
  3. Utilize industry best practices and coding standards to ensure efficient and maintainable code.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure system stability and performance.
  5. Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve software development processes.
  6. Develop and maintain technical documentation for all software projects.
  7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  8. Work closely with product management and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  9. Mentor and guide junior team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge.
  10. Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks and risks in project development.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software development for the automotive industry.
  12. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure timely and accurate testing of software releases.
  13. Actively participate in team meetings and discussions to share ideas, provide updates, and seek feedback.
  14. Take ownership of assigned projects and deliver them within agreed timelines.
  15. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide progress updates and project status.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Automotive Software Development:

  • A Software Engineer Iii - Automotive At Sirius Xm Radio Should Possess A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Developing Software Specifically For The Automotive Industry. This Includes Experience Working With Embedded Systems, Real-Time Operating Systems, And Automotive Protocols Such As Can And Lin.

  • Proficient In Programming Languages:

  • Strong Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C, C++, And Java Is Essential For A Software Engineer Iii - Automotive. The Candidate Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Object-Oriented Programming Principles And Design Patterns.

  • Knowledge Of Automotive Standards And Regulations:

  • The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Automotive Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 26262 And Misra C, To Ensure Compliance And Safety In The Development Of Automotive Software.

  • Experience With Automotive Tools And Technologies:

  • A Software Engineer Iii - Automotive Should Be Proficient In Using Automotive Tools And Technologies Such As Canoe, Canalyzer, And Vector Tools. Experience With Automotive Communication Protocols And Diagnostics Tools Is Also Highly Desirable.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills:

  • The Candidate Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Think Analytically To Troubleshoot And Debug Complex Software Issues. They Should Also Have Experience Working In An Agile Development Environment And Be Able To Adapt To Changing Requirements.
