  1. Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing software products.

  3. Conduct reviews of code and identify potential bugs or areas for improvement.
  4. Design and execute automated test scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing.
  5. Identify, document, and track software defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
  6. Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development and quality assurance.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding testing progress and results.
  9. Mentor and train junior team members on testing methodologies and tools.
  10. Actively participate in agile development processes and contribute to team discussions and decision-making.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field: A Strong Background In Computer Science Or A Related Field Is Essential For A Software Development Engineer In Test Ii Position. This Degree Provides A Foundation In Programming Languages, Data Structures, Algorithms, And Software Engineering Principles.

  • 3+ Years Of Experience In Software Development And Testing: Candidates For This Position Should Have At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Software Development And Testing. This Experience Should Include Designing And Implementing Automated Tests, Writing Test Plans And Cases, And Identifying And Troubleshooting Software Defects.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or C++: A Software Development Engineer In Test Ii Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Programming Languages And Be Able To Code In At Least One Language. Knowledge Of Scripting Languages Like Python And Experience With Object-Oriented Programming Languages Like Java And C++ Are Highly Desirable.

  • Experience With Testing Frameworks And Tools: Candidates Should Have Experience With Testing Frameworks And Tools Such As Selenium, Appium, And Junit. They Should Be Familiar With Agile Testing Methodologies And Have Experience With Test Management Tools Like Jira Or Tfs.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Software Development Engineer In Test Ii Should Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify, Troubleshoot, And Debug Complex Software Issues. They Should Also Be Able To Analyze Test Results And Provide Recommendations For Improving Software Quality.
