- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communications strategy to effectively promote and protect the brand and business of Sirius XM Radio.
- Manage all aspects of media relations, including building relationships with key media outlets, crafting press releases and media pitches, and responding to media inquiries.
- Oversee crisis communications and develop strategies to effectively manage and mitigate any potential negative publicity.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company and represent the brand in media interviews and public speaking engagements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels.
- Manage a team of communications professionals and provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as PR agencies, to support the company's communications objectives.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to identify potential risks or opportunities for the company.
- Develop and manage internal communications strategies to effectively engage and inform employees about company news, initiatives, and updates.
- Work closely with senior leadership to provide communication counsel and support for business initiatives and decisions.
- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on reputation management and communication strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to corporate communications.
- Stay updated on emerging communication trends and technologies to continuously improve and innovate the company's communication efforts.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the brand and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Corporate Communications, Preferably In The Media Or Entertainment Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Communication Strategies For A Large, Publicly Traded Company.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Both Internal And External Stakeholders.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With Experience Overseeing A Team Of Communication Professionals.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Corporate Communications, Including Social Media And Crisis Communication Management.
