  1. Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software products.
  2. Conduct manual and automated testing of software products to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
  3. Identify, document, and report software defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
  4. Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and design effective tests.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing to continuously improve our testing processes.
  6. Lead testing efforts for new software releases and provide guidance to junior test engineers.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
  9. Create and maintain test environments to simulate real-world usage scenarios.
  10. Communicate test results and provide recommendations for product improvements to stakeholders.
  11. Troubleshoot and debug issues encountered during testing and escalate to appropriate teams when necessary.
  12. Continuously monitor and improve the overall quality of our software products.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Software Testing: A Senior Software Test Engineer At Sirius Xm Radio Should Possess A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Software Testing, With A Strong Understanding Of Various Testing Methodologies And Tools.

  • Knowledge Of Automation Testing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Automation Testing Tools Such As Selenium, Appium, Or Similar Tools. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Scripting Languages Like Python Or Java.

  • Understanding Of Software Development Lifecycle: A Senior Software Test Engineer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Software Development Lifecycle And Be Able To Work Closely With Development Teams To Ensure Timely And Quality Delivery Of Software Products.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Is A Critical Thinker And Has The Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Issues That Arise During The Testing Process. They Should Also Have Experience In Writing Test Plans, Test Cases, And Bug Reports.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Senior Software Test Engineer Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Others To Achieve Common Goals And Resolve Issues.
