  1. Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the brand and reputation of Sirius XM Radio.
  2. Create and maintain relationships with key media contacts to ensure accurate and positive coverage of the company.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries and manage media responses in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Write and edit press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials to effectively convey the company's message.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute communication strategies for new product launches, company initiatives, and other key events.
  6. Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports and analysis to senior management.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
  8. Act as a spokesperson for the company, representing Sirius XM Radio in media interviews and public speaking engagements.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for proactive media outreach.
  10. Manage crisis communication efforts and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks to the company's reputation.
  11. Train and coach company executives and other team members on effective media communication strategies.
  12. Collaborate with external PR agencies and vendors as needed.
  13. Monitor and manage the company's social media presence, responding to comments and engaging with followers.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve corporate communication processes and procedures.
  15. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and thought leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Corporate Communications, Preferably In The Media Or Entertainment Industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Traditional And Digital Media Platforms And Experience Managing Public Relations Campaigns.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Craft Compelling Messaging For Different Audiences.

  • Proven Experience In Crisis Communication Management And The Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Discretion.
